So Spring has officially started and the warmer temperatures are just around the corner. Your Spring dress is awaiting you eagerly and ready to be seen again on the streets. But are your legs?
We know after a long and cold winter break most girls struggle with dry and flaky skin. That’s why we want to show you an easy and quick way how to fix this discomfort. With our tip you’ll be all ready to shine in your trendy Spring dress again in a heartbeat.
The best and simplest way to get your legs back to smooth and soft texture is by using a self made body scrub. Natural ingredients like coconut oil help you to moisture your skin while sea salt helps to get rid of dead skin cells.
Have you ever made a scrub yourself? If not, it’s about time ’cause it’s super easy, affordable and very effective. In today’s DIY we show you step by step how to create your own.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Step 1: For a medium jar of scrub, take about 3 table spoons of coconut oil and throw it in your empty glass jar.
Step 2: Melt the coconut oil in the microwave for about a minute till its consistency is completely liquid.
Step 3: Peel the Aloe Vera branch with a knife and scratch out the gel. Add it to the coconut oil.
Step 4: Add about 5-6 table spoons of sea salt to the mixture.
Step 5: Stir well.
Step 6: (optional) For an additional color splash and a refreshing smell, add a table spoon of bath bead into the jar and once again, stir well.
Your scrub is now finished and ready to use. Take about a tea spoon full of scrub and massage it onto your legs using a soft pressure. Keep massaging in circular motions for about 3-5 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Apply body lotion afterwards to store the moisture.
